Whilst its true that there is alot of potential to make money online – adsense, affiliate marketing, partner networks etc – it is no less true that to make a lot of money online is no easy thing. The first thing to learn, as I did the hard way when I began a couple of years ago, is that there is hardly ever a short cut to making money on the internet. If you can begin to appreciate that fact, and are willing to ignore all those “I make $2,500 a day with Adsense” ebook schemes, then you will save yourself alot of time in the long run – if it sounds too good to believe then you are better off not reading it in my experience.
Truly successful online marketers rarely boast about their earnings, and rarely claim that making money online requires anything less than a reasonable amount of work. Its not hard work, your not getting dirty down a mine after all, but it will involve a good deal of time to be a successful online marketer, especially when you are still towards the bottom of the learning curve. That said, if you are serious about making money online and are willing to put in some study and work, then it may be possible for you to pack in your day job and be your own boss with this – just don’t expect to get rich quick. Lets move on…
Enough of the build-up, what are we selling here? Absolutely nothing…honestly! This site is mostly a set of notes I built for my own benefit to keep track of what I have learnt about different ways to make money online over the last couple of years. Its a sort of fusion between Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tips and articles, and resources that you may find useful to help you on your way. I do not want you to sign up to my newsletter, I do not want you to click on any ads…honestly dont do it… and I do not have any ebooks to give away.
I have gotten tired of my friends complaining about their 9 to 5 jobs so have tried to convince them that this is an alternative, with the hope that their complaining will turn into discussions on SEO and affiliate marketing which I am actually interested in listening to. I created this site originally for them so please help yourself to the information. Im not saying what has worked for me will work for you, but I am saying that there is wealth of information here that may lead you on the right path.
